About Us

From the rolling hills of Abruzzo to the Delaware Valley, DeLuca Construction's heritage of the trades spans centuries. Our respect for the trades, our craft, and family tradition is what drives us. We are a family business with family values, upholding our reputation, experience, and, most importantly, our relationships in every home improvement project we complete.

Ron DeLuca

Ron DeLuca is founder of DeLuca Construction Company and a carpenter by trade. He began his career on a framing crew when nails were still set by a hammer in hand. After several years under the guidance of crafted carpenters, Ron decided it was time to open up shop and built his first speculative home in 1983 after securing financing at 21.99%!

Attentive to design details on both large and small scale projects, Ron's leadership has enabled DeLuca Construction to build a reputation for quality craftsmanship. The company's remodeling and building projects have been showcased on the front cover of Builder+Architect magazine and was recognized by the Better Homes and Gardens magazine as one of the Best Building and Remodeling Companies in America. Ron has been a featured guest on television and radio, including the Discovery Channel and WPEN, WPHT, and WWDB radio stations.

Ron is past President of the Home Builders Association of Chester and Delaware Counties and holds the position of Director Emeritus. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Builders Association, the National Association of Home Builders, and the Project Management Institute, Delaware Valley.

Appreciating the importance of evolving building standards and the customer's vested interest for exceptional value, Ron is proactive in the field of education as well. He is an instructor for the National Association of Home Builders, teaching project management and certified Green Building ANSI Standards courses that are sanctioned by the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Ron is a graduate of Temple University and received a Master Project Management Certificate from Villanova University. He is a Certified Green Professional (CGP) from the National Association of Home Builders and an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. He is former Program Director of Project Management at the University of Delaware and teacher of Project Management at Temple University.

A life-long resident of Philadelphia and Delaware County, Ron has been married to his wife Sheila for over forty years. Together, they are the proud parents and grandparents.
